A little bit about Lee

Lee St John

Lee set up Enjoy Yoga, Pilates & Barre in 2014 after teaching host of different exercise diciplines in the local community.  Lee brings a fresh, innovative and forward thinking approach to teaching mind & body classes. She has a unique way of using her in-depth physiological knowledge and influences from her fitness background to create classes that are often hybrid in nature -  blending and embodying physical movement,  breath work and musicality to create truly enjoyable and varied classes.

Yoga Flow - Mixed Level

The style of this practice is quite unique in that traditional poses are taken to form a sequence or flow which is dynamic, coordinated with breath and accompanied by gentle, uplifting music. There is often an element of Pilates featured during practice so the physical body benefits from cross training other mind and body disciplines, with particular emphasis on the core.


It is a physical asana (posture) practice with lots of options and modifications to suit all.  This type of practice is renowned in building strength and stamina quickly but also the added benefit of aiding and improving balance and flexibility. As the breath and body work as one, concentration is improved through a relaxing and rewarding practice. Every class closes with a few minutes of guided relaxation to calm both body and mind.

Fitness Pilates

Fitness Pilates combines functional fitness variations with traditional Pilates movements. It still utilises all of the fundamental movements, principles and techniques of traditional Pilates Mat work but offers more diverse modifications and updated exercise prescriptions to provide a controlled body conditioning class which is appropriate for 'the healthy adult' of all fitness levels. As it integrates fitness principles with Pilates learning, it is not intended to be remedial, clinical or designed for rehabilitation. It is a modern, forward thinking approach to mindful group exercise.

This particular class helps build a strong core from which of which the positions or exercises flow and centres around control and precision, aiding a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act of movement you perform in a modern yet non-intimidating and easy to follow way.

Holistic Fitness in Eastleigh & Chandler's Ford


Barre-lates is the new 'conditioning' mind and body class. It blends techniques and disciplines from both the ballet world as well as from yoga and pilates which are set to current and uplifting music to help you tone, sculpt, and lengthen your muscles from head to toe.

The course is suitable for all levels and you do not need to have experience in dance or ballet. It is an entire body workout which focuses throughout on engaging core muscles and improving posture for that long and lean physique. 


A typical class will include spending time at a barre or chair for support in our standing sequences as well as mat based conditioning exercises, followed by a final stretch. A variety of small equipment may also be used such as free hand weights, balls and bands to help lengthen and tone.


PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core strengthening benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of flowing yoga movements. You'll perform a series of high-intensity, low-impact moves that will work every single muscle for a long, lean, and incredibly defined physique

You’ll stretch and strengthen every muscle with moves inspired by the best of Pilates and yoga... did we mention it’s low-impact but high-intensity! So when you’re done, you’ll feel that exhilarating glow that comes with doing something great for your body.

Events &Workshops

Lee hosts a number of  popular workshops which are based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned in equal measure.  In todays frantic, fast paced, high-tech world, many people find that they do not dedicate time to truly rest and relax or stretch and soothe the body or generally just take the time out to focus on themselves and their wellbeing. 

Perhaps you'd like the opportunity to treat yourself and join us for a blissful, candle lit restorative workshops. Allow yourself the time and rare opportunity to disconnect from the wares of daily life and rejuvenate through one of these calming practices.

Lee also hosts fitness mornings & pop up classes so that you can come along and reset the focus of your health and wellbeing needs which also serves as an excellent opportunity to come and sample some of the classes on offer. 

You will also find a  runners & cyclist workshop that is hosted in the Autumn as a opportunity to use the wonderful mind & body disciplines to cross train.
